How Sand Tunneling Works in Fortnite: Best Locations and Strategies

So, you wanna know about this sand tunnelin’ thing, huh? Alright, alright, sit down and listen up. It ain’t rocket science, ya know. Just some folks playin’ in the sand.

This sand tunnelin’, it’s like when them kids bury themselves in the sand at the beach, but, ya know, fancier. They say it’s in some game, somethin’ called “Fortnite.” Never played it myself, too busy with real work. But from what I hear, you stand still for a bit on the sand, and then poof! You’re under it, like a mole or somethin’.

They say you can only do this sand tunnelin’ in certain spots, around somethin’ called the “Zero Point.” Sounds fancy, but it’s just sand to me. They got names for these places too, like “Salty Towers” and “Butter Barn.” Salty Towers? Butter Barn? What kinda names are those? Kids these days, I tell ya.

Now, why would ya wanna tunnel in the sand, you ask? Well, apparently, it’s fast. Faster than walkin’, faster than runnin’ even. And you can hide from them other folks in the game. Makes sense, I guess. Hard to shoot someone if they’re under the sand.

But, here’s the thing, it leaves a trail. Like when you drag your feet in the sand and you see the line? Same thing. So, if someone’s lookin’ real close, they might see where you went. Not so sneaky now, are ya?

This sand tunnelin’ thing, it’s had some problems too. They say it was broken for a long time. Somethin’ about bein’ “disabled.” Imagine that, a game thing that don’t work. Just like my old TV antenna, sometimes it works, sometimes it don’t.

They even mix sand with somethin’ called “bentonite slurry” when they’re diggin’ tunnels. Don’t ask me what that is, sounds like somethin’ you’d feed to pigs. But apparently, it helps with the diggin’.
